LitCon 2016.
Author Panels: Listen to the amazing LitCon 2016 authors discuss their teen and
young adult books! Panel discussions will include an audience Q & A session.
Workshops: Active sessions led by published authors, writing experts and teen librarians giving advice on writing, publishing, creative expression and the latest and greatest teen and YA books!
Bookstore: The LitCon 2016 bookstore will sell books written by LitCon 2016 authors. A title and price list, along with method of payment information, will be sent to all registered attendees.
Book Signing: All authors will be available for a book signing session.
Gallery Displays: Walk through the LitCon 2016 gallery to interact and view displays featuring book, reading and literary themes. Not to be missed, the “Pin the Glasses on John Green” display!
Gallery Displays Include: Ohio Center for the Book of the Cleveland Public Library - Graphic Novels; Pin the Glasses on John Green!; Perry, Wickliffe and Mentor Public Libraries; Lora Gray - anime artist; Northeast Ohio Regional Library System- Cool Tech Gadgets; INFOhio - latest and greatest information tools for school projests, and more!
Dress in Costume as Your Favorite Book Character: Get in the 'con' spirit and dress as your favorite literary character! Be creative! No weapons or replicas of weapons of any type may be worn or brought to LitCon 2016. Costumes must be school appropriate and respectful. Persons wearing costumes not considered appropriate by LitCon 2016 staff will not be admitted to LitCon 2016.
Raffle: Books will be raffled off at LitCon 2016. All attendees will receive one free raffle ticket! Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at LitCon 2016 - 2 tickets for $1.00.
